There is a lock-box located on the east side
of City Hall for 24-hour payment drop-off.
The City
of Atlantis owns its own water and sewer utility. The utility
serves the residents of Atlantis as well as a number of commercial
customers north of the city. Residential customers are billed
on a bi-monthly basis in January, March, May, July, September
and November, while commercial accounts are billed on a monthly
basis. Bills are mailed on the 25th of the month and due on
the 12th of the following month. Accounts not paid by the
due date are subject to a $10.00 late charge and possible
service interruption.

A deposit
of $150.00 for a ¾" residential service and $200.00 for a
1" service is required for all new accounts. Deposits are
held without interest and refunded after 2 years to accounts
in good standing.

AUTOMATIC BILL PAYMENT
The City
of Atlantis Utilities provides customers with the convenience
of Autopay for their utility bills. By providing us your bank
information, the city will automatically deduct your utilities
payment from your bank account. You may sign up for this service
at any time. The following should answer questions concerning
this service.
Q.
How do I sign up for this service?
A. Complete the authorization
form and send it to our office at 260 Orange Tree Drive,
Atlantis FL 33462. Be sure to include a voided check with
your form.
Q.
How will my bill be paid?
A. On the 5th of the month following the bill date,
your account will be debited for the amount of the bill.
Q.
Do I have to bank at a certain place?
A. Your financial institution must be able to access
the Federal Reserve Automated Clearing House (ACH). Most U.S.
Financial institutions have access to this network. Payment
must be made in US FUNDS.
